A Financial App To Rival Bloomberg!
We have partnered with finance traders to build a one-of-a-kind iPhone and iPad app that allows traders to buy and sell foreign exchange currencies on their mobile device. The app will feature currency rates, charts, trading capability, preference settings, account info, as well as news. Data feeds will be pulled from a web server and originate from 2 trade sources in the US and Europe. Performance is of the utmost importance. Screen flows have been identified and a beautiful, smart UI is currently in progress. We have a focus group of 1500 traders who will be evaluating the app. This will rival Bloomberg and CNBC's apps!
This is a very exciting opportunity as this app is the first in a series that we plan to back with VC funds. Future apps will trade other futures and spot futures commodities such as metals, grains, oil etc.
Job Requirements:
Our team consists of expert traders, a backend server engineer, an interaction designer, graphic designer, and project manager. We need a very talented iPhone developer to build the client app for both iPhone and iPad platforms.

Job Description:
The interaction designer will be responsible for the interface interaction and design of all projects at Bamboudesign, including client and in-house projects. He/she will interface with clients directly and work with the engineering team to communicate UI specifications, ensuring technical compliance or adjusting design as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- Mobile user interface design experience, preferably on iPhone (or other touch-screen devices such as Android)
- Experience with rapid prototyping
- Outstanding interaction, communication, design, and specifications capability
- Excellent graphic design skills
- Comfortable in fast paced environments
- Can work well with others and take directions
- Highly professional, independent, outspoken and comfortable interfacing with clients
- Friendly and adaptable!
The candidate will have a portfolio to show past work, and describe the tools and methodology used.
