How much can ad-supported iPhone applications earn? What types of apps do well using the advertising model?
Join us for an iPhone networking event organized by The iPhone Network Lounge and hear Daniel Cheng of Greystripe, present developer case studies of ad-supported iPhone apps and share some interesting user data from Greystripe’s Consumer Insights Report. Greystripe closely monitors their iPhone user base and studies how they interact with the applications in the Greystripe network in order to provide this data.

Greystripe is the leading rich media mobile advertising network for iPhone applications. Greystripe's product suite enables brand advertisers to communicate their brand message in a superior ad format, publishers to gain sustainable advertising revenue by serving rich media ads through their applications, and consumers get access to high quality applications for free. Greystripe is a venture funded company backed by Steamboat (Disney’s VC), Monitor and Incubic Ventures.
Daniel Cheng is responsible for the developer program at Greystripe with over 500 developers from top indie developers to large publishers like Electronic Arts. As a founding team member, he has been crucial to developing their ad-supported mobile application business model and helping to bring it to the mass market. He advises top 100 app developers on marketing and monetizing their apps. He has spoken at iPhone DevCamp 3 as well as numerous iPhone Meetups in the San Francisco bay area.
